A beautiful Edwardian-inspired carved half-hoop ring adorned with three violet amethysts and two green peridots displayed in an alternating fashion across a 9ct gold gallery with beautiful, scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders.
The gemstone colours were often used together to show support for the women’s Suffrage movement in the early 20th Century. A white stone was often present as well and together symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The ring is complete with hallmarks inside the band and boasts a lovely combination of contrasting gems that look wonderful spread out across the finger.
